All began on January 2007 when Uros Djordjevic (rhythm guitar) decided to form a band which would play Thrash metal and at the beginning he decided to name the band DEVASTATION. He made a contact with Bojan Pesic (solo guitar). They were playing alone for a while, and by accident they have found Igor Stamenovic (vocals) and started working some tributes to famous Thrash metal bands, but with rhythm machine, because at that time there were several drummers in Pirot, but none of them wanted to play this kind of music. With Igor’s entry into the band, they started playing Death - Thrash metal. Band was searching for the drummer. On September 2007, Alexandar (ex - drummer) has joined the band, and then they changed the band’s name into ABADDON. Right after that, they started working on their own material. After a short time of playing tributes and making their own songs they made a short break until January 2008 when they continued with their work. After all, they have managed to record their first demo. On February 2008, Jovan Stefanovic (drums) joined the band, and right after that Danilo Mitrovic (bass) also came as bass guitar player. After all what happened, they have finally continued their work. Abaddon has had several gigs, including Pirot metal fest, also known as Rock On. Also there is a recording of their new demo this winter on which are going to be some new songs.
