Comeback in Core (or how to just escape being killed) It all began in the early 80's. As a son of a musican (my father was a guitar player) I was very interested in all kinds of music. After learning how to play the guitar I discovered Electronic Music. I got my first Ghetto-Blaster in 1983 and I was a member of a breakdance crew. We often went to contests, made some Graffitis, tried to Rap – and then it happened: I went to a club called “Resoundâ€. A Location, only 400m away from our appartement and well known as a meeting point of all American soldiers, especially Black people from the Rhein-Main-Aera. When the well known clubs “Funkadelic†in Frankfurt and the “Village†in Hanau closed in the morning, all the Party people went to the “Resound†to party on. I was fascinated by the DJ Joe Jam – He was one of the first dj's in germany playing a totally new style of music – CHICAGO HOUSE – What a pumpin' stuff! Looking over his shoulders, learning how to mix and then I bought my own first mixer in 1987. One of the first Techno-Partys around here was organized by me in 1991 and in the same year I went to the 3rd Love-Parade with about 3-4000 People at the legendary “Kuhdammâ€-Road in Berlin, visited all the first Maydays, Omni-Raves, Palais Osthafen in Frankfurt, … After all that Raves nothing new happened – until February 1994: A friend of me told me about the scene in the Netherlands and invited me to a bustour to Amsterdam. The Name of that amazing party was “Immortality†(Hellraiser) and it was amazing. I felt a new kind of energy – pure energy! The best sound I ever heared and the best decoration I have ever seen before. And I had a dream: I wanted to stay here on stage to blow the peoples mind. Three years later my dream came true and I was spinning at the “Digital Overdoseâ€. At the same time I worked in the Distribution Office of the legendary Planet Core Production-Guys in Frankfurt, being Resident-DJ at the best club ever in Frankfurt – Dorian Gray (Airport), and also played at Love- Parade, Street-Parade, Lake-Parade (Geneva) and all Big Major Raves in Switzerland. In 2002 i became a victim of a crime because I was at the wrong time at the wrong place. I got a double basal skull fracture and since then I suffer from Tinnitus, need a hearing-aid and have a damaged equilibrium organ. I spend a lot of time in hospitals, contended for my right with insurances and public authorities, lost my job and got insolvency… but I didn..t want to accept one..s fate and a few years later I started coming back to the stage slowly. I rediscovered the power, the energy of sounds and now music is the only medicine helping me looking forward. It's the best therapy to forget my health damages. Forward ever - backward never!
