Stockholm Swing All Stars

Stockholm Swing All Stars is an eight piece swing band. It is probably the best in this genre in Scandinavia and consists of the greatest jazz musicians in Sweden. The repertoire consists of tunes written by Duke Ellington, Count Basie and the rest of the giants of swing from the thirties. The arrangements are all written in a traditional way, but yet with a new touch, by the two saxophone players in the band, Fredrik Lindborg and Klas Lindquist. Stockholm Swing All stars plays mostly at festivals, jazz clubs, and concert halls but also does a lot of gigs at dance camps, jams and competitions organized by Lindy Hop societies such as the Harlem hot shots.
