WE'VE ALL GOT THE RIGHT TO BE HERE

About Me

Just your average person really, a little crazy, but hey who isn't? I have a gorgeous, intelligent and talented son, who I'm extremely proud of (Hey, lucky guy- he got his brains AND his looks from his mum! ) I put on rock gigs for fun and work in a call centre for money. I like watching live music (obviously!) watching good films, reading science fantasy, parlour games and home computing.

My Interests

Music-particular watching live bands, reading, games and computing. Intelligent conversation.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can stimulate my mind, share my world and not make demands on me that I can't meet. Oh and I'd love to meet James Hetfield, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt (but that's just lust!!!)Oh, and I'd love to meet Donny Tourette-AGAIN!

Music:

My musical taste has no boundaries. Metallica, DumpValve, Green Day, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Depeche Mode, Towers of London etc, etc. I'm willing to give anything a listen- I may not listen to it twice though!

Movies:

Can't stand gorey horror stuff, but I do like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs! Like a good fantasy film (LOTR, Matrix, Star Wars, Mad Max) but also like a good laugh. My fave film of all time is 'Streets of Fire'. Love anything featuring Brad Pitt, Michael Pare, Jonny Depp, Michael Madsen, Robert De Niro and Samuel L. Jackson.

Television:

Don't watch it much. If I do I tend to watch psychological thrillers or documentaries about wildlife. Heroes is ace. Love watching Derren Brown and David Blaine. Oh and I don't care who knows this- I watch Neighbours!!

Books:

Science Fantasy. Authors Anne McCaffrey, Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, Terry Brooks. JRR Tolkein. Kristine Kathyrn Rusch. I do like non fiction too, mainly philosophical stuff or Mystical stuff (Tarot, I Ching, Sun Signs, White Magic.)

Heroes:

My son.

My Blog

It’s Been a While

End of my tether (and that's funny too!!)

I can't take any more. I have had enough. Life is driving me round the bend. My son is being an absolute t**t. Everything that can go wrong is going wrong. My friends are noticeable by their absence. ...

Time to move on?

I suppose the worst part of this, is trying to decide how to begin. I suppose you could call this my rubicon-the point which, once crossed, signifies irrevocable commitment-or the point of no return.F...

Me and my big mouth

What a weekend that turned out to be! I found myself in the position where I opened my mouth and spoke before I engaged my brain. The thing is, what I said was the truth, but I ended upsetting people ...
