About Me

a chance encounter with Sun Ra - in addition to the sublime noise, he autographed my copy of Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee - and then Laurie Anderson (Big Science), opened my ears to new vistas and cells divided which would eventually form the EboNebula. Mainly been on the art tip with bata drums rattling around in my brain swimming in a sea of House music... At the millenium the Experimental Sound Studio took a chance on my theories of free turntablism, which led to Alien Stingers commission and picking up zither violin and bass and using compositional glossolalia to set it up. Alyce Santoro fluted before breaking out to Marfa, and vocalist tHuLe brought the wisdom of the heart. ZEP TEPI CD followed which The Wire mag liked alot. Then did an interesting project composing music for kiddie rides for artist Yoko Inoue.Been fulfilling grants and commissions ever since and doing multi-media projects with the Ebonebula family such as Ultra Darfur, forthcoming.
