I am here for Dating and Serious Relationships

About Me

Mix equal parts creativity, generosity, loyalty, passion, and wit. Let stand until firm. Sprinkle with salt & garnish. Serves many.
When I was a kid, I chinned myself on the Rossetta Stone. I also stopped the oldest working clock in England. I'm still embarrassed that the first words out of my mouth in Paris were "Parlez vous Anglais?" I got lost on a mountain in Kyoto at night.
A month after my 21st birthday, I had my tongue pierced. The worst part wasn't the pain but what I had to eat for two weeks until the swelling went down. For my 30th birthday, I'm considering getting a tattoo. My tongue is still pierced.
A month after my 29th birthday, a friend and I were carousing in Hell's Kitchen, and he surprise running-hugged me from behind. My nose broke our fall. Surgery fixed it. Best part? His name is Geronimo. Seriously.
Everyone always forgets that I'm a vegetarian (and have been since I was 13).
I generally dislike beer, brass, humidity, impressionism, jazz, pleats, semicolons, spinach, wicker, and zoos.
I am not now, nor have I ever been, a foodie, a germophobe, a morning person, or afraid of the dark.
Favorite feelings: The electric ache of sore muscles. A hot shower on a cold day. The groggy haze of waking up from a good nap. A cold shower on a hot day. Fleece.
If I were a pornstar, my name would be Lambchop Haines (first pet's name + home street). Then again, if I were a pornstar...
As far as musical instruments go, I play two instruments perfectly: the stereo and the champagne flute.
I'm a joint cracker who can't stand nail biting.
My weaknesses include, but are not limited to, extended metaphors, green tea ice cream, and puppies.
People who take themselves too seriously should be laughed at. Sometimes I'm one of those people.
My cultural heritage is Basque, British, and German.
I've lived in the Bay Area, Boston, Iowa, London, North Carolina, Mexico, & Spain. Manhattan's the first place that's ever felt like home.
Intelligence, charisma, and wit turn me on. (So does making out :)
Instant gratification is hot. Delayed gratification is hotter.
I'm neutral about beige and Switzerland.
