Sounds Like: Dusted Magazine says "Plodding and Morose"

The Indy says "Go Christian Marclay on your country 45s, splicing fragments of drone and noise like intercalary abstraction into rustic old grooves. Melt it together, and let the sun warp it into a crisp: Only then would the sound of singles approximate Chapel Hill's country-cleaving Sound of Singles"

Screaming Bloody Mess says "Gerald J. Schoenherr gives two Bob Seger songs a crack. There ain’t no Silver Bullet Band involvement but he does a good job particularly on the B side ‘Beautiful Loser’, the title song from Seger’s more reflective 1975 record. I’ve heard that the original concept of this song came from a Leonard Cohen line, and like Cohen, Schoenherr has the vocals that bring a sense of loneliness and despair that the original was all about. Just his voice and a slight harmonica with guitar makes for a sparse and sullen feel. It’s good."I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Favorite CDs 2006

By no means do I consider these the Best of 06. Just the things that I've enjoyed the most. I'm actually suprised by relative lack of variety. It's all pretty rootsy. Ah well. Here they are:Geral...
