Chile, a Close Encounter
I envite you to watch this awesome film about Chile, Chile now holds the highest standard of living in Latin America. It keeps on improving year after year

Now to Me... on MY... space ;-) 'ello,
My name is Ian I live in the neighbourhood of (*******), city of Seattle, county of King, state of Washington, Pacific-North west Region, on the Pacific Time Zone, in the United States on the Continent of North America, in the Western Hemisphere, on a silly little planet we call Earth, in the Star system of the Sun, about 2 thirds the way out of the Milky Way galaxy in a big, almost emptiness we call our Universe.
I was born in Santiago, Chile and arrived in the states when I was 6yrs of age. :-P
Meaning of 'GoozyGuy': Goozy for my last name (no it not spelled Goozy), Guy is for my XY chromies.
I try to live life to the fullest and try to get along with most anyone... even if I dislike them... for fighting usually is really not worth the effort or energy. I very much a social person at heart
Anywhoo, I speak English as normal as any other American English speaker speaks it though there is a slight accent most notice is after they find out where I was born. I speak and write Spanish at about 8th level plenty enough for me to get my thoughts across both personally and professionally. My French is pretty elementary though my vocabulary is pretty good. I have much interest in learning Brazilian Portuguese I find it the most soothing and sexy language in existence (god how I love the romance languages).
Oh yeah, one last thing... I an't no devil nor saint. ;-) Cheerz, - ian G -
If you wonder how I've traveled to so many countries... well, I'm not "rich"... my father for years worked as an accountant for an airlines company... and he liked to travel. :-)
I also enjoy traveling and seeing historical sites as well as others cultures. My #1 place I'd like to visit, would be China.

My Interests

Enjoy doing outdoors activities (pending the weather), such as jogging, tennis, rock climbing, camping, swimming, skating. Love to dance, hang around the pub, play pool, darts and many more activities.
Also enjoy my personal time... to study, play on my pc, clean my flat , exercise, etc.

I am a total political junky.
I do strongly believe in political responsibility, having said this… I must admit that at first I though the former FEMA director Mr. Brown was completely incompetent. He’s has shown revelations and evidence on the contrary... the directory of Homeland Security is an utter failure... as is this Administration. Mr. Brown just another scapegoat of the Bush Administration. ¿Do people really understand the Bush Administration… ever wonder how is that that so many people leave that Bush Administration with an ill taste in their mouths?

Aaahh... yup, I and am completely anti corruption. I believe the laws of this Nation were laid out for all people... including the Executive Branch. I strongly believe (as most intelligent people) the Bush Administration scares the public on purpose for its own agendas. We are not the only nation that has suffered terrorist acts... other countries yes... they do try and makes things more secure… but people live their lives. I am not going to stop driving a car because I may die in one; I am not going to stop using electricity because it may electrocute me, there are many other things to focus some of the public’s attention on as well... as how our government has been failing the average Joe, of how Americans are becoming less educated every year (while other countries are becoming more educated).

The United States is much more corrupted now that it ever was.

One thing that is very certain is that the REALLY RICH are getting MUCH RICHER than any economic demography... the rat they are going... they’ll eventually own everything... how’s that going to put the then majority of poor people not only on earth but in our country, the US of A?
Our economic policies (both foreign and domestic) are failing both the poor (growing) and the middle class (shrinking)... only benefiting the (the less tan 1% of the population... foreign and domestically) Rich and specially the REALLY RICH. How is it that these outrageous Rich people just want to become richer... Personally... I do believe some are with Millions... but no one is work Billions. I don’t envy Billionaires... but I shun them. Though some (like Mr. Bill) are donating tons.. and plan on donating most all their money away.

I very much a left-winger... not completely far left... but out there. I strongly believe in Social Democracy (look at Sweden... how wonderful their society is evolving into) for it works.
From Wikipedia “Labour Party in the United Kingdom (the party's constitution says it is democratic socialist, but its policies are social democratic), the German SPD and many other such parties throughout Europe, Canada (New Democratic Party), Australia (Labor Party), New Zealand (Labour Party) and Norway (Arbeiderpartiet)”.

‘Aight... I’m done for now :sighs:

I'd like to meet:

I'm only friends with people who respect others points of views, opinions, lifestyles and happiness.
