Excerpt from Kingdom of Fear by Hunter S. Thompson (relatable on one level or another)

"You're funny," she said. "You're very strange--and you don't know why, do you?"
I shook my head softly and drank some gin. "No," I said. "I'm stupid."
"It's because you have the soul of a teenage girl in the body of an elderly dope fiend," she whispered.
...Yes sir, I said slowly to myself, I have the soul of a teenage girl in the body of an elderly dope fiend. No wonder they can't understand me.
All the writing seen within this profile is the work and property of Joe Dimeck, a dude with a lot of time on his hands. On that note do not be afraid to send me a friend request if I do not know you since this profile is a way of sharing my writing with people in different places. In fact I encourage such a thing.
Foremost it would be very kind of you to Subscribe to my blog as a means of getting my work out as soon as it is posted. You can do so by clicking the following link: SUBSCRIBE NOW
I've come to terms with the fact that Myspace does have its pros, as it is a wondrous device for promotional purposes, keeping in touch with pals in other regions of the land, and other things, which are currently out of my mental grasp. But Myspace still has a tendency to creep me out from time to time, and I guess that is just the beauty of the overly free realm known as the internet. Since this is an about me section it would probably be best if I move off the topic of the oddity known as Myspace, and go into some detail about myself.
I consider myself to be an optimistic pessimist, which might not make much sense, but it basically means I am relatively unsure about the future--and who isn't? Nevertheless, I do look forward to it, and then again I can only imagine we are predestined to suffer a fate similar to the dinosaurs. Instead of an ice age, I feel our extinction would be due to things man has created such as bombs and strange flesh-eating chemicals, but those are just minor details and it wouldn’t be fair to say humanity will wipe itself out; the weather has been quite peculiar in recent years.
Whatever the outcome is I am interested to see how things will pan out, and since I am curious by nature I have this unrelenting desire to see as much of this strange planet as possible. One of my many goals in life is to live a full life by the time I'm 30, and then start a new one. And if you have taken the time to peruse through my blog you can see that I enjoy writing. Currently I write for a few publications and assorted free lance work--sometimes I make money but at the moment I get free stuff such as: CDs, Red Bull and whatever else I deem acceptable payment. I consider myself a free lancer, a zealot, a bumbling fool, and any other combination of the three.
On that note I am more than willing to offer my writing services if you are in a band and are looking for a bio or if you simply need something related to writing. Being a fan of the barter system I will accept a trade as long as it tickles my fancy. However, if you have nothing to trade I am also a fan of money, and will gladly accept currency in exchange for my services. If you do decide to go the route of monetary exchange please do not worry as I am 100% negotiable--most offers will probably be accepted unless you are the KKK or some other group of loons, in which case I will simply ask to observe you for story ideas. For inquiries message me through my profile
With that nonsense out of the way I enjoy music, movies and adventures, which about sums it up…any questions feel free to ask.
-------------------------------------------------
I understand that I do not accept Friend Requests from bands, but this is because bands usually don't go around reading blogs. If you want a bio written just message me and I will friend request you.
If you are unsure of what to offer me for my writing services here is a very loose breakdown:
Band Bio: $5 Now if you are using the barter system just make an offer, display the goods and depending on my interest in the item I may or may not accept. Just remember I will never want more than $5 for a bio unless you want a long, epic saga of your tale as a band. Also if you cannot send payment via PayPal I do accept money orders or well-concealed cash.
CD Review: Send the CD and $5, simple enough....same trade rules apply.
Anything else in regards to writing will have to be assessed as it is offered...Keep in mind I am up for almost anything...again with the exception of KKK pamphlets or Scientology leaflets...
