About Me

I'm sure there is something profound about me that I can write here, perhaps in the vein of I am sensitive to my environments. As a kid I used to pull apart things to see how they worked, and then put them back together. Now I seem to do it with people. My brain is a strange place to be. Sometimes it works. Other times it works. It all pretty much starts there.Six or seven variations of hirsute. I don't remember the last time I was clean-shaven. Often I'm found staring at my facial hair wondering whether I am a goodie or a baddie.I tend to be charming at inopportune moments. My own blood gets on everything I make - one day auctioneers may gene test my work for authentication. . I often stand so close to paintings to look at the brush strokes that I am warned by security.I find myself in conversations where my compliment of highly disparate and slightly relevant trivia enters the spotlight.I like to use other peoples perceptions of clothing to fit in or bypass their defenses... like a spy.Water seems to get all over me whenever it's near. I like to sneak. Sneaking past water has never proved fruitful. It gets me every time. Ice though seems nonplused by my presence.I think I was born broken.I like to have other people walk through doors and start eating before me - Inner conflict still wars as to whether this stems from gentlemanly politeness or checking for traps and poison. I assume its both.

My Interests

thrift stores, useless h's, ice parties, song for song, talking gummi bears, scarves, driving past memories on our way to new ones, pretending to fit in, reading, self destructive work loads, walking away from sex slightly injured, thinking when I should be sleeping, sneaking, the sound of blades sliding, uncut leather skins, old woollen military uniforms, propellers, old natural fabric, food, being thoroughly stunned by my matrix speed reflexes, arid humor, every sister, blue and white, deluding myself that I might one day be able to sit still and do less than four things at a time... and maybe even nothing at all, trying to eat with grace and failing miserably, repetition in form, matte surfaces, cooking things that aren't quite Japanese, robots, old and new medical equipment, inspirational pain, ostrich leather, wit, hardware stores, knowing the sound and rhythm of someone's walk, reading when I should be sleeping, french kisses,

riding in trains, innovation, delicate structures, keeping Frost together, texture, facial hair, the profile of layer slices, running on stairs, smiling at strangers when they least expect it, squids and rays, being loud, the cold, buttons, getting away with it, working out how they did it, art that appears factory made, self imposed aphasia, being very quite, shirts buttoned up, patterns and association, girls with Icelandic accents, selective appropriation, poker faces, being constantly engaged, undoing knots - especially the really tiny ones in thread, the music, seeing animals and faces in things, becoming entranced with the way people move, soviet champagne, 40's and 50's view of the future, finding my other halves, loyalty, disguising mistakes with goodbyes.
