About Me

I'm boring.

My Interests

unpacking, re-packing, changing the music, finding ways to keep my cat from getting so dirty, drinking gin from victoria, donating most of what I own, deciding on paint colors, waiting for my recycling can, realizing that my bike is pretty much broken and planing to learn how to fix it, camping, camping in new places, putting holes in my new walls, building my grill, planning for house warming, planning for Girl Talk, making bread, making soup, snuggling in the basement, settling in.

And as always:

talking, sleeping, watching movies, listening to music, making my house a mess when I'm stressed out, meeting new people, re-meeting old people, running and not having asthma attacks, cuddling, feeling comfortable and safe, reading, people who can be vulnerable and dependable, eating my feelings, not eating anything, cooking, beer, my dog, cute shoes, sunny days spent outside, cloudy days spent in bed, rice milk + espresso + honey = delicious

You got to give a little love to get a little love.

Last night I had a dream that I forgot my dad's birthday was in May and not in December. I was out to lunch with him and he told the server it was his birthday and I felt like the biggest schmuck. &n...

It's not now or never. It's not black, and it's not white. Anything worth anything takes more than a few days and a long, long night. Don't push so hard against the world, no, no. You can't do it all...

I love my dog. and fresh vegetables.

I made it home last night and can't even describe how glad I was to see my little apartment. Sure it was a little messy and the fridge was empty, but these things are easily fixable.   While I ...

35 years ago today

On January 22, 1973 a landmark ruling was made in the case commonly know as Roe v. Wade. This decision made abortion legal in the U.S. or, more accurately it protected a woman's privacy to make medi...

the (cranky) pants

I should know by now that my body just doesn't function well without food for long periods of time, especially when that long period of time happens to be on a particularly tough and busy day at work....
