My name is Colleen and I'm a 36 year old mother of two. I work nights as a bartender at a local club. I am married with two children and I have a step-daughter.

I have a wonderful husband named Tim. He's very smart and I love his useless knowledge. I love the days when I hear him say, "You were right, hon", because I'm usually not. This is an ongoing joke between us. :)

My stepdaughter Brittainy lives in Reading, PA with Tim's mom. She's in her senior year of high school and we hope to have her move back down here with us when college starts next year. She's playing field hockey now.

Matthew is my 8 year old boy. He's in 3rd grade and in the gifted program. He has a few close friends and many good friends. He just finished the fall season of soccer in the U-10 group. Another championship win! Matthew's also in cub scouts. He's a VERY active boy.

Jennifer is our newest addition. She's 20 months old (born March 31) and she's such a joy. She's so dang happy. She loves TV... she LOVES Barney, Sesame Street and Caillou. She loves to dance... she's very good at it. She's definitely developing similarly to her brother... she loves daddy's screwdriver, which at this age scares me. She'll probably turn out to have that engineering mind like my boys. Crazy stuff!

My Interests

Skiing, sewing, raising my children, socializing, playing games on the computer, catching up with my friends on the phone, days off from work, watching thunderstorms, praying for blizzards in the wintertime, swimming, watching my son play soccer, being with my husband, eating stale Peeps, vacations, cruises, going through my son's halloween bag after trick or treating, fishing, listening to 'memory' music, taking pictures, drinking Yuengling Lager, Grand Marnier (especially when it's from my flask on the ski slopes), vanilla candles, SLEEPING LATE, hot baths in a clean tub in a clean bathroom, movies, tv, quilting, dreaming and day dreaming, catching groundhogs in our trap lol, feeding the squirrels and birds out back, scaring the damn cats that set off our motion light at night and poop in our yard, wearing a sweatshirt with shorts, tucking my kiddies in bed for the night and kissing their little foreheads.

Books:

Besides children's books, I read my first book series since High School and it was Lord of the Rings. I prefer reading magazines and news ...
