I like thinking. I like imagining the best future possible and convincing myself I can attain it. I am fascinated with how one's attitude reflects the situations they find themselves in. And I LOVE my work..my husband is my yogi master..how lucky can a girl get?!!
Stuff like that.
"What am I NOT interested in?", may be a better question. . .
When I was a kid, I used to play Frogger on a 13'' black and white TV in my bedroom, on an Atari 2600. It was my older brother's, and it was pretty bitchin' when I got to have it. One Christmas, I BEGGED for this new video game machine called a Nintendo; I was 13 and my brother and his girlfriend went out and bought one for me. . . .a whole new set of memories, but Frogger, that was one of the originals for me. . .
I have an interest in time management and exploring whether there really is someone out there who has mastered it. If so, they need to do seminars in my town. Pronto.I have an interest in reminding myself that no matter how much I schedule in and how many responsibilities I have, there is SOMEONE out there who has even more, and they aren't bitching. So I strive on for what I want and discipline myself deftly when it comes to my business pursuits. But I'm silly and sensitive to others. I really like people. I love autobiographies and biographies. I love to learn what other people go through and how they handle it...
I'd like to meet:
Buddhists. You! Also fellow photographers. And anybody that's read anything that I've read. . . BMXers. . . old friends 'n acquaintences...anybody that is friends with somebody I know!
People who believe they must make their life happen, and not let life "happen" to them. I borrowed that from Tom Leykis. . . when he talks about how he got to where he is today, it's pretty freakin' inspirational to me.
Music:
My Very Favorites:

I love Ludacris, and that Golddigger song that Kanye West does, good LORD that's some rocking stuff.
Jazz/blues in the wintertime.
That one station does the Beatles, what Saturday mornings? We've always got that on.
I don't listen to enough ZZ Top. neither do you.

Heroes:
Anybody that's learned to accept cricism.
People who DON'T IGNORE that nagging internal flame that burns for one to keep going, keep striving, keep searching.
People willing to make their dreams come true and not make excuses why they can't.
Anyone who resists becoming complacent with their lot in life. People who reject: McDonalds and the Mall, going into debt for the sake of driving a SUV, using a RHINESTONE-encrusted CELL PHONE, having your HAIR STREAKS, pedicure, or jeans cars worth more than your IRA. What's an IRA? That's my point.
People who don't brag about how great they are, yet somehow still seem really great. My husband is the perfect example for that. He's amazing and teaches me so much about how to have immpeccable work ethic and how to love.
People who are honest. People who use their lot in life as motivation to search for what they were put on this Earth to do. It wasn't just to live a mediocre existence...My heroes are people who understand that SUCCESS is a poor teacher..... of course you are going to fail and make mistakes on your journey to where you want to go. That's what makes you wise and experienced once you attain your dreams. SUCCESS IS A POOR TEACHER, and if one wants to learn, one should welcome mistakes and be thankful for them!
People who at least try to suck it up and see life for what it is, pull up your gawl-darn boot straps and take care of one's business.
People who I see at the gym totally inspire me. What is it in THEIR heads that gets them in there? I'm talking about the grampa who's 75, Mr. airline pilot dude, the mom with 4 kids, ms. female boeing machinist, tattoo guy, etc. THEY can get in there and do the dang thing, while 70% or so of the rest of the population DO NOTHING. Its fascinating. I'm fascinated by it. The only difference is what is going on in their heads. Their thinking.
