I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

21 years old, from winnipeg, manitoba. always been from here, hopefully not always going to be here. easy going alternate-lifestyler, not a big fan of pop culture. I love anything and everything musical. Punk and hardcore are a must, I love friends, partying and getting wasted. I'm a mechanic, so I gotta say I love cars aswell. i'd love to move somewhere nice, south america-ish or europe. though I'm not so sure how nice europe is just yet, but I can't wait to find out.

I like playing in bands. just music in general. i love following my dreams, whatever people, things, or activites i'm passionate about. i try to be as honest as possible, liars infuriate me. can you tell i'm kinda bitter about be lied to? all it takes is a little bit of understanding, and anything can be worked out. just try.

let's go get drunk/high/enlightened.

My Interests

music, punk/hardcore, guitars, bass, bmx, cars, motorcycles, girls, fun, food, comedy, huffing glue, piercings, tattoos, muppets, friends, movies, drugs, experiments, building/de-building stuff. mmm... glue.

I'd like to meet:

if you're brainwashed by popculture, we probably won't get along. if you're open minded, I like you already. I'm not actually thinking I'd like to meet anyone, and we'll see how it goes. Maybe you think I'm retarded, in which case, I don't remember where this thought was going.fun people, shit. who wants boring?

Music:

This is where I drop a million band names right?
Thrice, Rise Against, Ignite, Smoke or Fire, Against Me!, Misery Signals, Less than Jake, Radiohead, Something Corporate, D/C, My Chemical Romace, Unearth, Sublime, Toy Dolls, Tenacious D, The Human Abstract, Raised Fist, Propagandhi, NOFX, Francis Cabrel, Protest The Hero, Raiden, Johnny Sizzle.
About a million others, but I won't waste your time, you get the idea. Plus, if you ask, I'm sure I just won't shut up.

Movies:

Half-Baked, Requiem for a Dream, Spun, Amelie, American Beauty, Dazed and Confused, Drop Dead Fred, Hackers, Brick, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, The Dark Crystal, Scarface, Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, The Big Lebowski.

I'm quite the movie nerd usually, but I can never remember them when asked.

Television:

Futurama, Simpsons, Oblongs, Duckman (RIP), Mission Hill, Undergrads, Clone High, Astro Boy, Trailer Park Boys, Chapelle Show, Arrested Development(RIP), Weeds.

Books:

The Tao of Poo, The Alchemist, Saying Yes in Defense of Drug Use, Beyond Marx and Market, Go Ask Alice, Hardcore Logo, 1984, The Palestine-Israel Conflict, Kill the Indian-Save the Man.

Heroes:

Charlie, Ryan, Graeme, Dean, Cole, because they all give me something to strive for. Besides any kind of talent, their intelligence, attitude, and friendship are the only things that really give me any kind of hope in a world that fails me day after day.
I mean, Heroes? Are you serious? Graeme can't even find his pants.
