Hi All,
Let me begin by saying a big THANK YOU to all who participated with SVH-D throughout the year to our efforts to raise funds for MDA. With the support of our customers SVH-D was able to turn in during Ride For Life XXI over $52,000.00. The entire Ride For Life XXI fund raiser collected over $1,127,000.00 for MDA. Once again THANK YOU for your support. We are now all enjoying the riding season here in Pennsylvania, long sunny days, warm temperatures and wonderful roads. Harrisburg PA Area Chapter of HOG has a varied riding schedule with many opportunities to join the Chapter, as long as you are a member of National HOG, or a guest on dinner rides, over night rides and “Anything Goes Ridesâ€. “Anything Goes Rides†leaves SVH-D every Saturday morning at 9:00 AM or every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM. The “Anything Goes Rides†can have several riders or even only one. There is no scheduled destination, so riders that show up for these rides can choose a ride leader, agree to a destination and leave on their ride. Ultimately, you may have one ride leaving for a short ride of 1 hour or maybe an all day ride just riding the beautiful roads in our area of the woods. Many times there will be a restaurant or an ice cream stand as part of the ride. It really ends up being an unplanned adventure, that could either be shared or just some private time with you and your motorcycle. There are a lot of national motorcycles rallies coming up this year, Americade, Laconia, the 25th National HOG Rally, the 105th Harley-Davidson Celebration, Sturgis Biketoberfest, and many other state HOG rallies and national rallies. I hope that all of you have the option to pick an event to attend. National rallies are unique opportunities to see lots motorcycles, hang out with lots of people that enjoy this wonderful life style and participate in a truly indescribable celebration. With a little luck I hope to see you at one of these rallies. The dealership will be celebrating “Hot Harley Nightsâ€, “Sizzling Saturdaysâ€, Thursday Bike Nights, our 14th Anniversary Party, and MVP’s special events. So if you are unable to travel to one of many motorcycle rallies, please come join us at SVH-D for many events to enjoy our sport of motorcycle riding. In closing, please have patience with our Service Department as we all try to maintain our motorcycles during this riding season. SVH-D’s MVP Program currently has over 2,300 members along with many other customers who have decided not to join our customer appreciation club. With 2,300 MVP customers, along with 5,000 other customers, our seven technicians work very hard to satisfy our customers expectations. All our technicians have various training backgrounds which include, MMI, YTI and Harley-Davidson factory training. As the owner of SVH-D I will only accept technicians with these type of credentials to work on our customers’ motorcycles.
