After doing this for as many years as we all have, you come to expect the unexpected. Sometimes members come and go but you always try to go forward. Well, something recently happened and although it was unexpected it was also inevitable. Scott, Dave, Mike and Fritter have all gotten back together. It was this core that made the OTK sound so well known. We also added a great bass player by the name of Rick Yohe. Rick brings great vocals and solid bass playing to the band. Rick has played in some outstanding gigs over the years and during his first audition, we all knew he was the one.
UPDATE: July 1st, 2009;
We are pleased to announce the addition of Fred Eberly to the band. Fred has been playing keyboards for more then 45 years and it sure sounds like it. He plays a Hammond among other boards in his arsenal and the sound is fantastic. Anyone who can play and sound like the late great Billy Powell from Lynard Skynard will definately be a crowd pleaser. No kidding....he really can play the Skynard stuff. Fred also brings vocals to the band.Not many bands can claim five part harmonies but we can. OTK was always known for it's vocals and harmonies and with the addition of Fred and Rick, we will be taking the vocals to the next level. Add the ripping guitar playing of Mike and Scott along with the fantastic drumming of Fritter and things really start to heat up. Throw in Ricks ability on bass and Freds seamless keys playing and it all makes for quite a sound. You will not be dissappointed.There have been several musicians that have come and gone over the past seven years all of which brought talent and ability along with them. Although they are no longer with us, we want to thank each and every one. This can be a rough business and anyone who has been doing this long enough knows that it's very hard to find the right people and talent to make a band stand out from the herd. Growing pains can be a bitch but in the end when you finally have the right mix it really is something special. All of you made OTK what it now is and for that we are all thankful. Last but not least, if you are looking for a recording studio please contact us. Scott owns SLM~Studios and he does a fantastic job of recording without breaking the bank.For Booking and/or studio info contact Dave at 717-577-1074
