My Interests

I like kids of all ages, dogs, reading and learning, traveling, the internet and getting to know our men and women in uniform. I love the ocean. To me, the sound of waves is the most peaceful and relaxing sound there is, and a beautiful sunset is the most peaceful sight.

I am happily married. My family is the most important thing in the world to me.
My son Jason is in the Navy. He's married to Lauren. They live in Jacksonville, FL. He is an Avionics Electrician and normally works on electrical components in helicopters, but now he is part of a Navy Provisional Detainee Battalion. He has been deployed to Iraq.

My stepson John was in the Marines and served in Iraq in 2005. He is married to Jamie. He lives here in Houston and presently commutes to Louisiana with his job.
Jamie had a baby boy on August 30, 2006. His name is John Michael. He was 7 lbs. 4 oz., 19 inches long. Our first grandbaby!

I love dogs. I currently have three: a chihuahua/rat terrier mix named Angel, a toy fox terrier named Spanky and a Chihuahua named Sweet Pea. She was my Birthday/Valentine's Day present in 2006. She's beautiful.

I'd like to meet:

People who are friendly. Dog lovers. People who support our men and women in uniform.

Books:

My nephew Travis is in the Army (Airborne). My nephew Kevin is a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and flies F18 fighter jets. I am very proud of both of them.

Heroes:

Our military who selflessly serve our Country.
Go to www.anysoldier.com or www.oidelivers.org to lend support to those serving in Iraq. You'll be glad you did.

If you don't have money to spend, it doesn't cost anything to write a letter.
