D’Vine Favor

There is something about the bond of us Davis sisters that is baffling to most people and admirable to others. They do not understand that the sisterhood and mutual love of God and singing flows abundantly in our relationship while manifesting in our music. There are many times that the strength of that bond is tested, but it has proved strong over the years. Being raised in Rapid City, South Dakota we have almost felt sheltered and cut off from the mainstream of Gospel Music. But we have worked hard to be a beacon of light for God and the Gospel industry. South Dakota is not our state of permanent residence, but we know it is God's "D'Vine" appointment. In being raised in South Dakota, our parents, our mentors (Carr) and our pastors (Bishop Lorenzo L. Kelly & Co-Pastor Evelyn Kelly) have developed in us humility, wisdom, kindness, strength in our faith and love. We believe that God has bigger and better plans for us elsewhere, but Rapid City has given us a background and a foundation like no other Gospel group anywhere in the world."For I know the plans I have for you", says the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
