Books, movies, renaissance faires, driving and not knowing where I am headed
Country, Oldies, Rock and Roll, celtic and just found Amy Winehouse, cant find her cd but I am still looking
The Replacments, Brigadoon, Hondo, Rocky Horror, the Rocky series, most of the ones with John Wayne, Cary Grant, Bob Hope, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, the Sherlock movies and many more
CSI, wrestling, Dirty Jobs and Most Dangerous Jobs (I will never complain about the price of king crab again, lol), old movies
Anything by Robert B Parker, Robert Crais, Louis L'Amour, Robert E Howard. Most of Mercedes Lackey, Christopher Stasheff, Edgar Allen Poe and Conan Arthur Conan Doyle. Have found myself reading Robert Asprin and Jody Nye, Glenn Cook, Robert Jordan, Clive Cussler. I started reading comics to get donuts, my fathers way of bribing me to read, worked real well as you can tell by my waistline. Then he gave me a Louis L'Amour western and that was it, I was hooked. I am a voracious reader and a horrible speller. The proble is that when I read I dont see words, I see pictures, so if the book doesnt interest me and I cant see the pictures I lose interest, there go my math skills. I prowl used book stores and flea markets looking for old detective novels. In KY I had a very sweet lady sell me one of her husbands Charlie Chan novels and then a gentleman who owned a book store gave me another Chan book. Sometimes I buy old mysteries just because they are old and compare the writing skills of the newer authors. Amazing how many mysteries were solved before computers and cell phones, lol.
