The Beatles rule, but generally speaking, I like anything with a great melody - I grew up listening to a lot of mainstream rock/pop so all the usual contenders are in my collection. I'm not a music bore or snob - as long as it's got a great tune and/or groove then I'll probably like it.
Stand By Me, American Beauty, Ghostbusters, High Fidelity, The Exorcist, The Wicker Man, Wayne's World. The Prestige was the last good film I saw.
