MACAVA BIO-
And so it starts … Macava is a Power Metal band located in Kerrville, TX. The 4 Piece band has been slamming the music scene in South Texas for over 5 years. Formerly known as “Hollowed” before picking up "The best bass player in South Texas", or so states Cory Bryant speaking of Chad Upton. Chad structures Macava with his Jazz/Blues Funk Style Background ... With Melodic jams & progressive skills his style coincides with Brett's VERY melodic style of Drumming. Brett mixes his passion for a "Vinnie Paul" style with his ear for melody as you "Move" to the beat. While Brett & Chad set the groove of the band, Cory kicks you in the face with his power chords & riff's that drops panty's ... Well, we wish ... Ironically it drops more DUDES jaws when he mixes his power chords with face melting harmonics. The vocalist Trent Blake’s vocals range over all the power and melody with strength and power. He is a skilled & talented vocalist who started as a young kid winning the "STAR SEARCH" competition, and now going on to complete a power metal band that sounds like No Other! With the indefinite POWER & SKILL of the 4 piece MACAVA & the Mastermind Genius in Music, Design, & Direction of Gary Williams (Shotgun Gary “The Internet Rockstar”) ... the Unstoppable Force known as Macava ... well, Is pretty much uh ... Unstoppable!
