Music:
Everything!!!! I love music!! I have no favorites. Mostly I listen to music in the car, which is where I spend the majority of my day. I've been caught at red lights by other drivers singing my heart out... and I don't care. I don't feel embarrassed. They are the ones who don't have music that moves them. Yes, I use my cell phone as a microphone. Yes, if I turn it up loud enough I think I sound as good as the artist. Yes, I've driven the long way just so I wouldn't interrupt the best part of a song. I can't help myself.
Movies:
Tom Hanks is my favorite actor. He can do no wrong. All of his movies are awesome especially the Money Pit, Big and Forest Gump. Also he reminds me of my dad. One of my favorite movies not including Tom Hanks is Shawshank Redemption. The actress I like best is Diane Keaton. Have you seen the Family Stone? Baby Boom? No? You should. I also love Everything is Illuminated and Love Actually. I'm not much of a movie person though. No reasoning why. Just never got hyped up about them.
Television:
The Office, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader (most times I'm not), Cash Cab, Ellen, Survivorman and The Soup are my most regular programs. If it makes me laugh, I'll watch it. I like Extreme Home Makeover but I cry the whole time. Last but not least I need to give an honorable mention to Y & R. Thank goodness for Soap Network and the replay of current episodes.
Books:
A few of my favorite books: Can you Keep a Secret?.... The Secret Life of Bees... 19 Minutes or anything written by Jodi Picoult. I'm not into murder mystery novels or romances. I like a good realistic fiction book and I've always loved how contradictory that phrase is. I find myself buying most of my books from the bargain bin at Borders. They may have been rejected by others but they are treasures to me. I purchased this one book about architecture and famous buildings around the world. It's incredible.
Heroes:
Anyone who has helped another or changed the world, which is just about all of you.
