About Me

Born in Budapest, Hungary . Attila Csikós began playing the guitar at age 13. Attila studied jazz-guitar at the Jazz Department of Franz Liszt Collage of Music. Graduated at 1998 as jazz music teacher and professional musician.The art of Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Mick Goodrick, Joe Diorio, Steve Khan, Bob Mintzer, Pat Metheny made tremendous influence on his music. His eclectic tastes caused him to explore all types of music as a player and a composer. His guitar instructors was: Ivan Folk, Sándor Horányi, Gyula Babos, Garrison Fewel, Peter O' Mara.As a performer he has played on jazz festivals, in jazz clubs with his own band -WHITEFUL JAZZ QUARTET-, and as a sideman. He played in sessions with some famous jazz musicians like Dusko Gojkowich (tp), Kim Hutchcroft (sax), Stefan Zimmerman (tp), István Gyárfás (g), György Jeszenszky (dr), Balázs Bolyki (voc), Iván Folk (g), Szabolcs Oláh (g), István Regõs (p), Balázs Berkes (db); Trio Acoustic, Martonosi Trio, Kornél Almási (b) etc.He plays now in the Whiteful Jazz Quartet; Calvary Gospel Choir; Duo with Szabolcs Oláh.As studio musician Attila participated on some records as guitarist and arranger.As a teacher Attila teaches privately and at the Kálmán Nádasdy Artist School
