Against The Tide è un progetto one man band che nasce a Napoli nel giugno del 2007, per volere del chitarrista Giovanni Parisi. Il genere proposto è un mix tra death melodico, swedish e gothic/death della scena scandinava moderna, sulla scia di gruppi come Insomnium, Mors Principium Est, Swallow The sun,Demonoid,Kalmah,Nightrage e con altre contaminazioni del metal stesso. Nel 2008 arriva la prima demo, composta da 3 tracce più intro, intitolata “Towards The Nothing” e registrata al Nero Sound Studio di Pomigliano d'Arco.
Against The Tide is a one man band project born in the june of 2007, for the will of the guitarist Giovanni Parisi. The proposed kind is a mix between melodic death, swedish and gothic/death metal of the modern Scandinavian scene, on the wake of groups like Insomnium, Mors Principium Est, Swallow The sun, Demonoid, Kalmah, Nightrage and with other contaminations of the metal same. In 2008 the first demo, composed from 3 traces more intro, entitled "Towards The Nothing" and recorded to the "Nero Sound Studio" of Pomigliano d' Arco.
