A-Russell (A-Russ) Was Born in Orlando, Florida and was raised in Providence Rhode Island For 14 Years (he is now 17). At some time he was also raised in Cranston and Central Falls. Spending his days living the life as a Big City kid he decided to rap one day after seeing a rap battle between Broad St. and Eddy St. infront of a liquor store. "I just seen how niggaz reacted and i wanted to be a rapper" he says. "Its kinda like hustlin who ever can sell there self to the consumers or who had the best product usually ended up on top". Spending most of his time growing up with no father around, he took up an agression and passion to work harder than he had to get what he wanted. He spent most of his time playing basketball "Chillen wit my niggaz" and doing what ever he could to get better at what ever he does. Living in a single parent home with two sisters and his mother workin two to three jobs. Living On Welfare and Food Stamps. It was hard for him to look up to any one so he looked up to him self. "I left it up to myself to be my own role model cuz niggaz I looked up too couldnt help me... only I can help me". Now he has been rapping for 2 years and is Pursing his rap career to the fullest! "Get Used to Me"
A-Russ is a star in the making on the come up to the top with his East Coast Style and his Providence swag. A-Russ is a proud representative of his hood! and never forgets where he came from or who he came up with. A-Russ is currnetly unsigned at the moment and plans to get a deal soon. With his debut mixtape comming out next month called "Born Ready" Vol.1 he plans to show the world what he's working with. "I Aint no Industry Nigga!" Russ Says. "I do it for niggaz that aint got nothin" "Cuz i been there... Im from there". He does Write his own Music and Writes for others too.
