Well, I'll try to make this short and sweet ... however, I'm sure it won't be short and sweet. I'm a New Yorker through and through ... I was born and raised just outside the Big Apple, about 60 miles north of the Bronx. I came here for a major change of lifestyle and pace in March of 2005. Writing is my absolute passion in life and I want to do more of it.I recently finished my first romantic novel. Unbelievable that it's finished and unbelievable that I was able to get through this process when, at many times, it seemed like I would never finish the thing. This book has been the best and worst experience of my life ... it's the hardest thing I've ever tackled. A handful of my closest friends have seen the first chapter, however no one has seen past that. You can all read it together when it comes out God knows when.I like the Vegas lifestyle and love the club scene. You name it and I like it ... Pure, Tryst, TAO, Body English, Jet and of course, Seamless ... I love it all. However, I have just as good of a time hanging out at the center bar at the Palms or chilling at Rainbow Bar & Grill.Bottom line, what it comes down to with me is trust, honesty and respect ... you give it and I'll give it right back. You take any of those things away from me and you're finished in my life. It's that simple ... I'm not about second chances with people. Your true friends don't break those bonds. They build on them. And I'm happy, but sad in a way, to say that I've developed more solid friends here than I did in my 30-some years in New York. I'm thankful I have met around 10 ... so I should quit while I'm ahead).Anyone that has something positive to offer me and can bring something fun, special or unique to my world. I want to be around people who are going to challenge/stimulate me mentally and emotionally. I don't think that's an awful lot to ask.
