The Hauntingly Beautiful Mousemoon : 5 members (+ many more also as part) --- Started in the year 2001 --- --- --- it feels like this ----- moving, unshackling, flippin' out, shakin' it loose, creepin' in, givin', livin' ------- a thirst for Life - L L L Life - with the capital "L" - a vehicle ... MOUSEMOON --- hauntingly beautiful --- a bunch of humans aspiring together --- utilizing various forms of activity, predominantly 'artistic', to create beautiful, provokative, inspiring, liberating, shifting, etc ... moments and happenings ----------- ones for our selves to be in, day to day ones, individual ones & great big, awesome ones which require sharin' with other humans as a part of what makes 'em work ... and by 'work' is meant 'be awesome' ... and we're always together ... and since our chief "artistic form" is music then the label "BAND" applies ... and we use that ... see here - the hauntingly beautiful mousemoon is a band ................... well we started hangin' in this way, playin' our games & our music together & being around each other and all, in the recent year called 2001 ......... we wanted to play at different types of shows to those which 'already existed' as it were .......... but they didn't "seem to exist" ...... the types of shows we thought of .... so we made them up & we did a whole bunch of them where we would play & there'd be all other humans doin' their magic little things ('cause the good things which humans do - when letting go - are what i'd call magic) 'cause we asked them to come along and join us with their things ------ and much of what was done was really involving & 'interactive' -------- in many ways --- and so things got real awesome & "huge" because it was everyone there doing ''something'' which was comprising the event and making a vibe not just a band with some people watchin' & dancin' and stuff ------------ these we called "The Luna Sessions" and we did a bunch and it culminated with a big huge happenstance called, "the great hauntingly beautiful mousemoon life, love and beauty celebration circus" ('cause there was a lover of long lines of letters among us) ............................................................
............ this was huge and it blew our minds doing it ............................... since then we have done a number of these types of things and have been called "prolific party planners" by newspapers & stuff .................. but after a while we just wanted to go on tour so we did ------- and somehow, or so it felt, we tored for about 2 years or so ---- on & off but w/ a good solid chunk o' livin' done on the road (livin' & lovin' too) --------------------------- so we learnt a lot about ourselves & our defintion constantly changed thru out this period & still it is ............................................. the project which we are working on now is what u might call "an album" -------- what we are attempting to do is to record a sweet, kickass, liberated/liberating, moving bunch of songs (& other musical pieces) and make it into a beautiful collection -------------------------- somethin' to stir hearts and create lovely moments by its being in them as sound and as ideas ------------------------------ this is probably the hardest project we have ever done together but we are onto it -------------------------------------------- so, beautiful friends, there will be "an album" out in November ................................. after that we will back out on the road - hopefully travelling around some blend of ur regular 'rock' gig type thing (which we just did a big tour of) & those aforementioned happening type things --- to fill up moments so that being in them reminds u that u r free & prompts u to experience that --- does that make sense --------------- so we hope to see u at some - being some - some part of these happenin's - ------------------------------------------------------------

Mousemoon take you through the history of rock, paying homage to all genres. The show had all the elements of the great rock clichés, Townsend windmill guitaring, cigarette hanging from the lips, the crowd sing along and a stage dive from a breast flashing Mickey Mouse masked fanAnd Mousemoons frontman Zac is an absolute natural, commanding the stage in his skin tight pants and feather boa - hes six foot of emotion...The show was absolutely orgasmic.
