First, I am GOD's daughter and Second, I am Mr. & Mrs. Garrett's daughter. I am the youngest of 7 siblings (5 big brothers & 1 big sister). Seperated and a mother of a 17 year old son. I am a member of KGMBC where I serve on the Women's Prayer Board, sing in the Women of Faith Choir and where ever else I am needed on God's program. Encouraging and praying for all is a joy to my life. My ministry is speaking to women giving them what thus said the LORD and not what thus said LaWanda. Even thought I am saved I still enjoy life like playing ~ spades, domonies, fishing, laughing out loud, small trips, quite nights, smiling, meeting new people (no stranger here) & shopping (shoes, shades & purses) a sister still have to look good even when she is not sharing the Word of God. Don't judge because I am Heaven bound traveling on this flight alone-sorry, no buddy passes on this trip. Very down to earth (southern style)...Be Blessed...LaWanda (BibleLady)

{{{REST IN PEACE}}} Gwendolyn Michelle Garrett, she was my one and only big sister and now she is spending her time with the Lord..I really miss the fussing, cooking and laughs..No matter how mad we were with one another we always had each others back.

for allowing his one and only son to go die on the cross and then rise on the 3rd day for a person like me. For everyday that he gives me to start this thing over and get it right. And for allowing me to see 36 years of life. My DAD~).

for working many years on two jobs just to make sure that his family had what they needed and wanted. Showing us that working not stealing was the right way and most of all always acknowledge GOD for the food that he allowed him to work and put on the table (never eat without saying grace). She was a stay at home mom-being able to show up for different programs at schools and always having a hot meal ready on the stove when we came home from school. Teaching me that one day she would be gone and that I would have to learn to talk to Jesus, have a relationship with Jesus and stand up for myself and not be a doormat for NO ONE. The backhand hits in the mouth taught me to watch what I say and when I say it (still struggling with that one). Teaching me to be a INDEPENDENT, STRONG, BLACK WOMAN that she could be proud of
