A few of DoubleVision's accomplishments to date include Winning 'Best International Country Song 2008' For their latest single 'I Dream of You and Smile' in competition held by the Canadian Exclusive Magazine, Toronto Canada!! Winning various Talent Quests and Songwriting Awards both Nationally and Internationally Other achievements include Nominated top 5 for Tasmania and New Zealand Independent Country Artists Album Award for 2004. They were also Nominated in the top 5 for the Country Section of the Australian Independent Artists Music Oz awards 2003,one of Australia's most prestigious awards for Independent Artists. Doug and Scott G partners and owners of Golosio Publishing played a major part in this project as our publisher. xx We recorded the song at RDMS in Adelaide Richard Davidson xx he did a great job.
Influences: International Female Artists: Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, The Judds and International male artists: Lonestar,Tim McGraw. Our favourite Aussie artists Kasey Chambers, Beccy Cole, Tanya Kernaghan, Lee Kernaghan Carter and Carter Adam Harvey and many many more! I think we would have to say that Graeme Connors would be our most inspirational Aussie singer/ songwriter.
