A Not So Brief Photo History of Me...
I love volleyball, tennis, wakeboarding, surfing, sailing, wind surfing, SCUBA, snowboarding, skiing, guitar/singing, dancing, chess, reading, weightlifting, hiking with my dogs, home improvement...outdoor sex, preferably near/in major bodies of water. I do all these things on a pretty regular basis. Well, except for the sex in the water thing, but I'd like to give up my celebate lifestyle sometime soon. :o) Here's another hobby, restoring cool old cars. My 73 MGB below. Wanna go for ride? That's my house in the background if anyone's interested.
Here's another of my cars. '97 LandRover Defender.
And last but not least, my '81 VW Camper, also restored by me, including swapping out the VW engine for a much more powerful, clean burning, Subaru engine. This baby goes over 100 mph AND gets 20+ mpg!I restore boats too. Here's the world-famous competition ski/wakeboard boat...Tow Jam.
Pretty simple, and easier to say than do. I'd like to meet an intelligent, funny, and sexy woman for a lifelong friendship full of passion and fun.Today, someone asked me why I've never married and have no children. I answered that I've always wanted to do both, but have never been lucky enough to meet the right one, and have always been smart enough not to marry the wrong one. So it goes.I also like the saying that goes "don't marry the one you can live with, marry the one you can't live without".
Just found Joe Purdy on this site. Like him a lot. Big fan of John Prine, Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, The Waifs, John Gorka, Richard Shindell, Steve Earle, Sheryl Crowe, Lyle Lovette, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Indigo Girls, Neal Young. From this site, I really like Pete Gare, Animal Liberaton Orchestra (thanks Deah!), and Alastair Moock. And I think Josh Cole's "Love is a Comma" is one of the most beautiful harmonies ever laid down, with as incredible an interplay between the electric and accoustic guitars I've ever heard. You get the idea. Poets with guitars are my favorites. Maybe because I'm a wannbe one of them...sort of.
