As the courtesy rule goes: you want to add me then you need to send me a message. I will not, however, add anyone that I do not know at all and will probably never meet. For those still with me, I'll provide some information about myself now. Off you go...
My name is Dae, which is pronounced like "Day." The origin of the name is Welsh and means "beloved." Which I can say I am. Lest you think I'm an egomaniacal sort, let me stop you there. I'm as self-deprecating as a person can be but I do have a healthy self esteem where I am able to recognize my virtues and I do know that people like me and I do know that I strive to do my best. Therefore I am beloved, literally speaking. Sure, I have my off days where I am the suck but... who cares? It's all passing influence anyway.
Moving on, I'm between the age of 26 and 36. I have no need to give out my real age. I prefer the vagaries as they keep things interesting. Once you get to know me and spend time with me, I eventually reveal more details. Some interesting trivia though...
- I am the child of two "devil dogs." Look it up if you're curious.
- I'm a mutt when it comes to heritage but from what I have learned in my family's lineage: I'm Scots-Irish, English, French, Norweigan/Swedish, and Spanish. Yeah, the last one threw me too.
- I'm an avid independent student of the occult, metaphysics, thanatology, psychology, and I was once a high priestess of a coven. Note: It was not wiccan. I do not believe in wicca.
- I now practice syncretism with my primary discipline centering around buddhism and taoism.
- I'm in college studying Information Technology with a focus in Information Systems Security. I'll be done in about a year or so.
- I'm the singer and central force of the band Era Nocturna . I've released 2 albums to date and the third is coming out in October (if I finish it on time).
- I'm also an author. I've finished two books but I've only published one book of short stories called Expectant Failure .

- I absolutely adore my friends and once I consider someone my friend they are essentially family. It takes me a long time to trust people that fully though.
- I'm allergic to drama. If you cause it, I tend to block you out of my life very quickly.
- I'm a practical joker at times and I love to laugh. If you're someone who can't take a joke, you probably don't want to be friends with me.
- I'm generally very positive unless someone really does something to piss me off... after that it's a roll of the dice as to whether or not you'll ever see my good side again.
- I love coffee. I'm switching to decaf though so this is going to make me grumpy over the next few weeks. I'm also a former smoker starting on 4/20. Wish me luck there.
- And last, but not least, I'm always looking for new people to hang out with. I go to some of the clubs in Providence and Boston... the more goth-oriented ones... if you're out and you see me, don't be afraid to say hello. :)
