‘About Ruth’ for Dummies:
I’m human, female, curly haired, cynical and just a touch crazy. I enjoy laughing at things which aren’t funny, partying to my heart’s content, and expressing myself through photography, film making, writing and drawing. Oh, and I’m shameless.
Some beliefs of mine: 1) There is no right and wrong; only opinion.
2) People should be able to talk about what they like.
3) Love is just an idea that occurs to some of us.

About Me for those that care to read:
I am aware of my own flaws and accept them. No one is perfect, so why strive to be?
Arrogance is irrelevant right now, this is devoid of it. This is simply the blunt truth. You will never understand me. I don’t mean to say I’m the cliché ‘misunderstood teen’. I’m no cliché, nor am I a stereotype. I am simply a complex person who has strong beliefs and opinions. I don’t believe that anyone can 100% understand themself, so how can anyone else fully understand them?
You will never meet anyone like me. I am a self confessed eccentric film maker, photographer, writer, director and also occasionally a bit of a nudist. I question everything, I challenge everything, and I love to break people’s expectations. Some people look at me and see just a tiny curly haired little girl; there’s more to me than that. I love to break boundaries and rules and I love to defy social opinion.
I am a strange combination of characteristics, some of them are contradictory, yet they don’t cancel each other out. I like to explore everything and know all that I can about life, that’s why I question so much.
I’m perpetually misunderstood, even by those I love most. My thoughts tend to separate me from general society. Misunderstandings make me feel alone and separate from society, but even a drunken conversation in a bar with a stranger can help that fade temporarily.
I trust no one completely, not even myself. You see, I’m a cynic.

Despite being cynical and often bitter from the torrents of deep thoughts that hound my mind, I’m actually a happy and energetic person. I sustain calm in a lot of very bad situations simply from loving some forms of chaos and from being reckless. I often crave chaos as a means of escape from normality. If nothing is happening in life, or if it becomes mundane and routine, I find it hard to cope. I need a constant flow of change in my life to keep things fresh and exciting; which is why I’m so ravenously social.

I delight in the five senses. I take pleasure in small things despite being generally hard to please.
I hate overly presumptuous, closed minded, self righteous or judgmental people. Why chain yourself with social influence, other’s views, stereotypical bullshit or generic morals and ideas when you can be free? I am a free spirit. No one can chain me. I see beauty in everything, and with my photography I aim to show that. I want to feel and touch everything; I want to know everything that I can about anything. I am far too adventurous and curious, I question everything, and I argue and debate against everything. I am too intelligent for my age: in the sense that I think far too deeply and am more philosophically developed than anyone in my age group that I have ever met. Academic achievement does not really constitute for ‘intelligence’ in my books, it takes more than that.
Disaster delights my sadistic side.
My urges are very unusual, and my mind and imagination are insatiable. I tend do what I want when I want.
Some ways to describe me: complicated, confusing, random, deep thinker, philosophical, morbid, eccentric, weird, hyper, perverse, imaginative, resourceful, creative, extremely impatient, hasty, obsessive, easily addicted, spontaneous, lavish, analytical, persuasive, mildly manipulative, mildly selfish, caring, believe in justice but have strange opinions of it, open, rebellious, determined, highly ambitious, ridiculous, independent, worrier, good listener, helpful, wicked sense of humour, dark, and passionate.
I have no patience for small talk or closed minded people.
I am intolerant, due to my impatience, and indeed intolerable!
Since I was a child I have always gotten on better with older people. I am EXTREMELY open minded, which I why people say I am easy to talk to and to get to know. I am socially versatile, I have many interests and there’s no boundaries with me. I have a sick mind, a vast imagination, and am eloquent when it comes to words: and I’m not afraid to use that. I will gross you out, I will say what I’ve got to say and I will not be censored.
Have you made up your mind about me yet? Am I a cocky little bastard, or am I someone you’d like to get to know? To be honest I don’t care, but I will get to know anyone who wants to know me. New friends are refreshing. I’m a very busy person with no time for enemies. Continue reading if you wish:
I hate sexism more than anything in existence. I hate any form of inequality.
I don’t care if you’re black or white, fat or thin, ugly or beautiful, male or female, masculine or feminine, strong or weak, gay/straight/lesbian/bisexual/transvestite/cross dresser. I pride myself in being an extremely open minded person. I won’t judge you for being who you are. But I can sniff a fake from a mile off.I don’t listen to social influence as rigidly as other people. I am only me. I won’t wear a Nike tracksuit just because the vast majority of people do. Then again I won’t wear some unheard of design just simply because no one else wears it. I wear exactly what I like.
I believe that the clothes should advertise your personality, not you advertise the clothes.
I pity people that dress simply for the brand or to fit in. I don’t strive to be ‘unique’ like a lot of people try to; I do it simply by being me. These days everybody wants to be a freak. Why? Because it is a little bit more socially acceptable in the 21st century than ever before, and people want to be noticed, remembered and known.
You don’t know me after reading this, but you have a better idea maybe. Draw your conclusion, make an assumption that I am just an arrogant and self righteous nut case if you like. Closed minded and overly judgmental people aren’t worth a second of my life.
