Things I like: Passionate and powerful music (Crushing, desolate and windswept doom and the grim and the not so grim black metal in particular) although at the same time I still appreciate some 'party' music to just let your hair down and rock out to! Jack Daniels, cold and heathen brews, Autumn and Winter, The first light of dawn, heavy rain, the smell of damp earth, frost, woods, gigs, pubs, clubs and quiet nights in with good company and good conversation!
Anyone with similar interests. Failing that all the normal deviants, drunks, metalheads, warriors, wenches and of course gnarled people, the more gnarled and trampish the better!
To name just a few Primordial, Mourning Beloveth, Esoteric, Saturnus, Anathema, Cathedral, Candlemass, Centurions Ghost, Skepticism, Warning, Solstice, The Prophecy, Reverend Bizarre, Mael Mordha, Agalloch, Unsilence, Mournful Congregation, Morgion, Nortt, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, Empyrium, Bathory, Carpathian Forest, Rotting Christ, Catamenia, Burzum, Forest Silence, Wedard, Forgotten Tomb, Marduk, Thy Serpent, Morrigan, Shining, Aeternus, Hecate Enthroned, Emperor, Marblebog, Fen, Darkthrone, Forefather, Falkenbach, Insomnium, Rapture, Entombed, Amon Amarth, Sentenced, Moonspell, The Gathering, Antimatter, Of The Wand And The Moon, Blood Island Raiders, COC, Iron Maiden, The Almighty, The Wildhearts, Thin Lizzy, Grave Digger, Hammerfall, Neil Diamond......
Anything with swords or war is good by me!I also like thought provoking films such as The Pianist, Black Book, Schindlers List...Oh, and of course the Monty Python films...
TV? Whats that all about then? That said, Band Of Brothers was amazing!
I always like to have a good book on the go, somthing to get lost in and provide a bit of escapism from the perils of modern life, anything about ancient times, vikings, romans, history or a bit of fantasy. Branching out into stuff like Higgins recently as well!
