La rencontre choc de la pop anglaise des 70's et du son ravageur de la scene grunge des 90's. Imaginez une fusion entre Sonic Youth et les Kinks ou Nirvana et les Beatles! Cree il y a deux ans, le groupe: Rudy Gueniche (chant/ guitare), David Marcos (guitare) Damien Coutelle (basse), et Thomas Scarset (batterie), prend reellement son sens sur scene ou l'ampleur du phenomene est considerable! La foule est electrisee a chacun de ses passages dans les capitales. Un nouveau son se fait entendre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!___________________________________ ________________Based in Paris since 2002, Wide Shut is inspired by classic tunesmiths as well as the attitude and angular riffs of fellow Nirvana, Pixies, or Sonic Youth. Rudy ( guitar/ vocals) and David Marcos (guitar) started working together in 2000 producing their own electro /rock music. Two years later the foundation of what will be later called Wide Shut were made. After a few recordings they found their bass player in Damien whose background standed more in metal and indus sounds.
