the chronological length of our civilization
Every single member from an advanced civilization. You could not just meet one. Assuming they would have evolved like us, then each would be different in someway. Even if they began some sort of cloning procedure, or created some sort of global consciousness, they would still have evolved, and therefore inherited some sense of pride in their individuality. It seems all intelligent life, at least that which is carbon base, has some sort of individual consciousness. Some might argue certain ant colonies have a community consciousness, but they are still communicating between individuals, not to mention the fact that when one falls to sickness, they drag that ass out of there and away from the colony. They are not a single entity, but simply a well defined group of individual entities working towards a similar goal.I also would like to meet Marvin Minsky and I wish that I could have met Carl Sagan.
