About Me

My name is Courtney Yvette Lones.I was born in 1983 to Kathy and William.My dad passed away in 2001 four days after I graduated from high school after battling Non Hodgkins Lymphoma for about two years.I was born in Louisville, Kentucky and lived there until I was nine then I moved to Mount Washington where I lived until I was 18.My mother and I moved to Shepherdsville after my dad died.I went to college at Morehead State for about a year as a Theater major with a minor in English but I dropped out after a year and now I'm back in Louisville in my own apartment.I love movies and music and reading.I have no idea how many movies I own but I have every genre under the sun from horror to romance to comedy to sci-fi to fantasy to musicals to animated movies.I love rock, pop, country, rap, metal, show tunes and classical music.I am a loyal and likeable person who in the beginning is quite and shy but I can be a smart ass once I get to know you.I have a wonderful sense of humor but I also have a bad temper if you provoke me and it is a recent development.In high school, I did not fit into any mold and I was ridiculed and emotionally and mentally abused and I was suicidal for the longest time.I have a loving boyfriend and his name is Nathan and we have been together since 2004.I could not be happier with him and we hope to get married someday when our lives are ready for marriage.My boyfriend Nathan:My pet is my cat Scooter. He is a flame-point Siamese/American Shorthair mix with gorgeous blue eyes.He is playful yet grouchy but he is a good boy and completely lovable.He is like my child and is a great comfort to me.I'm here on Myspace to stay close to my friends,make even more friends and just have fun!

I'd like to meet:

Cameron Crowe is my favorite director, married to Nancy Wilson of Heart and I would so love to meet him.I have met Howard Leese (former Heart guitarist and my first crush). It was in July of 1998 at the Louisville Motor Speedway. Like the Ann and Nancy meeting it was so short I'd like to meet him again face to face with a much longer conversation :)I found the picture of when I met Howard Leese. It was taken in 1998. I was 15 and sunburned but it's me and Howard.I actually got to meet Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart in 2004 at a meet and greet in Atlanta at one of their concerts but it was so short I'd like to meet them again!
