Heavily inspired by the vivid house and techno scene in the nineties in Amsterdam, Anoesjka first started mixing in the year 2000 and soon she found herself playing at small events. Her official debut took place in 2002 at Reactor. After this, she was regularly invited by Dutch industrial techno organisations such as Strictly Techno (Waterfront), Exposure of Sound (Nighttown) and Technasion (Arena).
Her international debut took place in 2003, when she won the presitgious Kozzmozz (Gent) dj-contest and since then she has played for major clubs and festivals all over Europe and in Asia, such as Dance Valley (Spaarnwoude), Awakenings (Amsterdam), Gasten Zonder Grenzen (Amsterdam), Soulrock (Amsterdam), Stekker (Utrecht), Piekup (Amsterdam), The Venue (Edinburgh) and Astra/Culture Club (Bangkok).
Furthermore, she continues to be a regular guest in local dj cafes like Vaaghuyzen, The Getaway and TWSTD. Her sets are also broadcasted by several radio stations such as Electrone, Airpeace and Lazerhothits.
Besides dj-ing, she organises the alternative Vuig events, and produces her own music. Her releases on the Outland Label have been supported by a.o.:
