Fokus transcends the genres of traditional breakbeat and edm with his completely freestlye live shows, and his own blend of many various styles. Guaranteed to be a uniquely different experience every single time, while taking a old-skool vs. nu skool approach to making the most cutting edge broken beats performed live. The first release was through a small indie label out of Boston, and made available for mp3 download on Beatport.com. In addition to the Fokus live shows, he’s also represented Tricked Out Recordings out of New York with his dj sets. Showcasing new releases from the label for their re-launch. Now, on his own he has started the Atlanta collective label Subconscious. The debut full length album will be released this spring/summer. Keep your ears and eyes open for collaborations with various guest live artists, as well as the new releases on Subconscious Recordings. Also look for tour dates where the live experience is taken even further, such as outdoor festivals, and other gatherings of enlightenment.
