I am here for Friends

About Me

Hello, thx for checkin' myspace. Not much here that really probes into the conscious of me, but that works out good because I enjoy getting to know people as they get to know me. A little bio of me: I am a student trying to get an education to become a councelor. I work as a portrait and wedding photographer so let me know if you need my services. I don't like to spend hours on myspace because all the ads and many profiles are geared to stimulate the horomones and (as a man after Christ's heart), I find much of thispace is not for me. I don't think myspace is here for a popularity contest or beauty pagent. Nor is myspace a free service for singles. For me, myspace is a convienient way to keep in touch with those you call friends. And I am horrible at that, so if we think of each other as friends, please take no offense to my lack of constantly communicating how much I appreciate our friendship. I am a guy, and well, stereotypically we are bad at communication. :P God has given me a very interesting path in life so far, and I beleive that is so that He can use my choices in life to inform others and maybe He may even choose to use my past as a way to connect to someone He is reaching out to. If you don't know it already, and we call each other friends (and I don't mean on myspace...) then take an hour out of a day and ask me about it. I swear you'll have a bruise on your chin from your jaw dropping. I owe much of my life's reformation to God hookin me up with the church I attend. Bridges Community Church in Fremont. The relationships I've grown there have had an immense effect on my life. And I know that I wouldn't be the man I am now without such friends (not to discredit God's omnipotense). Let me know if you want to check it out, though I do attend the sattelite campus in Livermore. Same church, just setup every sunday at the community center. Smaller group, but that allows for deeper frienships. It's hard to establish friends in a mass of people so our church has cell groups like the one I am in. We serve espresso drinks every sunday morning, and we also meet once a week to have a bible study. Well, seems like I've written an essay because I actually retyped this...my computer has random reboots, and it rebooted when I clicked the update button....in fact, I'm just going to let my old bio finish this :P
I like to go driving just for the heck of it, winding roads that goto nowhere, or are the "long way" to get somewhere. It's better than picking up a cigarrette (quit after 5 years in Jan. of '04, haven't touched it since!!) to relieve stress. Just blast the music and hug the turns. I love my church: Bridges Community Church in Fremont. Great music, people, services, events, you name it, but most importantly, you can see God in the lives of these people. Right now, I'm serving out at the Livermore Campus, it got launched mother's day of '05, but attendance is kinda low, so if ya wanna come, ask me, I'll pick u up!! I serve coffee, well not just any coffee, the espresso! Man does this stuff get you jumpin'!! Among other things that I love, I love wine, and well...more wine. But you won't ever find me drunk, the love I have for wine is more the love of company that comes with it. I'm always with my good friends, having a good time, or at a fancy resturant, eating food I really can't afford!! What can I say, well I could tell you about the allergic reaction to alchohol that I have. If I drink any "dirty" (or cheap) alchohol, I get a reaction much like asthma, someone said it's because of the sulfates, but I think it's genetics. It sux, but bartenders love me since I can only drink the expensive stuff. Ask Dru about the time we were at cheese cake factory, and I got a drink...um...should've been like ten drinks!!! Anywayz if you're still reading this you must have nothing to do.
So go get a life!

My Interests

Photography, music, VIDEO GAMES, movies, hiking, camping, rock climbing...outdoor stuff.

I'd like to meet:

People like my buddy RACHEL , and the guys from my church, Dru , Issac ... People like my co-workers, well some of them, the ones who actually know something about photography. Other than that, I'm not craving for celebrities, or famous people. Average Joe's and Jane's are real people and I'd rather get to know someone real, than someone fake.

Music:

Jimmy Eat World, A Perfect Circle, Muse, MxPx, FIF, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Bob Marley, Buju Banton, The Ataris, Sublime, Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue. Rock Reggae, Punk Rock, and some classics.

Movies:

Kill Bill. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Jacki Chan (any, but if I had to choose: Drunken Master), The One, Hero, Super Ninjas, Dragonball Z, Matrix (the first one), Lord of the Rings, Enemy at the Gates, Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart...I can't think of any more, and that's no order of importance either.

Television:

I don't watch too much T.V., but I like stuff on discovery channel, and Most Extreeme elimination Challenge. But nothing is watched religiously. OOOOOOoooooooooo I am rather addicted to 24, but instead of racing home to watch it, I just rent the seasons.

Books:

Currently reading: Purpose Driven Life (again, didn't finish it last time!) by Pastor Rick Warren. --Really changes lives!! Chronological Bible, it's just the Bible but, it's books and chapters are put in chronological order so it's a big long story book. Very interesting actually, I find the old testament easier to read. Just finished Choosing God's Best by Dr. Don Raunikar; it's about courtship as opposed to dating. Been trying to finish Jack Whyte's Camulod Chronicles book III. I don't have any favorite authors, hand me a book you like and I'll try it.

Heroes:

Other than Jesus...I don't really have any, oh except Goku, can't forget that guy, GOSH!! :P

God is Great

So just like any other human I suffer from sin.  And I try my very hardest to not sin, and it's only in His strength that I find the key to doing this.  But like I said, I still slip, and so...
