I have been a part of the myspace community for almost two years now. And I think during the bulk of that time I have avoided acutally writing about myself. I have always just relied on a survey that I filled out with a bunch of random facts about myself, or a compilation of different personality quizzes, such as, my beer personality, or some such thing. But that really doesn't give a true impression of who I am. So after two years I've actually decided to write about myself.I was born and raised in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In high school I always said that I would never stay in the small town, I was going to move away and live somewhere where there was always something to do. And now at twenty-five I couldn't imagine leaving the Ketuckiana area. This is where my support system is. My mom and sister, and all of my friends. I am well aware that as my friends move on with their careers and begin to marry they may relocate, but I just can't see myself not living close to my mom and sister. Growing up that was all I had to call family my beautiful mother and big sister, Jules. They have helped me become the person that I am today, and I owe so much to them. I don't think they have any clue about how grateful I am that I can say that two of my best friends are also my family members, not many people are able to have such strong relationships with family members.I graduated with a BA in English. Reading has always been a big part of my life. I have always enjoyed losing myself in a good book, and feeling like the characters are my friends or in some cases my own sworn enemies. I love getting lost in a new world, and discovering new places through the eyes of different characters and authors. Not many people know this, but I also do a little writing of my own. I have always had this hidden desire to write a novel, and be able to have it published. Now, I'm not talking about becoming the next bestseller, but one goal in my life is to write a novel that is at least published for a small audience.
