I like to hang out with my friends or my mom and sister, they are two of the closest people to me. I also like to read, I am a bit of a bookworm. Writing--fiction, music, diet dr pepper, diet coke, M&M's, and laughter all things I couldn't live without. I am also a huge IU basketball fan, I bleed red and white!!! I am also a Colts fan and if Rich Franklin is fighting I'm watching! ;-)
I'd like to meet anyone that is secure enough with themselves to not put on a show and just act like themselves!!!! And any old friends that I have lost touch with over the years. That has been one of my regrets over the years, not staying in touch with some of the people that I have encountered or called a friend. Hopefully some of you will find my in this crazy myspace world!

Let's see, I really like a lot of different types of music. And to me music is an important outlet for your emotions. I may not like the same music as you, but I will never ever make fun of your music choices, I hate "music snobs", it would be a very boring world if we all liked the same things. Plus I have discovered that there is no better feeling than discovering a new artist that touches your soul. And a lot of times I'll end up liking something I never thought I would. So here is a little taste of what I like, and it is in no particular order. I love MXPX, , Taking Back Sunday, Flogging Molly, Jimmy Eat World, Counting Crows, The Donnas, Smashing Pumpkins, Coheed and Cambria, Sugarcult, Blink-182, New Found Glory, Cyndi Lauper ( I thought she was the coolest person in the world when I was little, plus she sang the theme song for The Goonies!!!),Guns N Roses, Def Leppard, two other throw backs to my childhood, come on we all are guilty of listening to the hair bands of the 80's, in high school I absolutely loved 311, Johnny Cash, The Mammas and the Papas, Steve Miller Band, Motion City Soundtrack, Dashboard Confessional, The Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins and Sublime, Dredg, Gomez, The Decemberists, Jack Johnson, the man is a genius!!!Drive by Truckers, A Blessing and A Curse needs to be in every CD collection!!!! I have been constantly listening to the new Shins CD, it is life changing!! I told you that I like a lot of different music, I'm all over the place, and I keep surprising myself on how varied it keeps getting.
Like music, my taste in movies is varied. In fact, I'll pretty much watch any movie!!! I love action movies, and since I'm female I like "chic flicks". Some of my fav movies are: Dazed and Confused, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Godsford Park, Garden State, Go, About A Boy, Almost Famous, Reality Bites, The Goonies, Empire Records, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Walk the Line, Identity, The Shining, Pirates of the Carribean, both X-men movies, The Godfather, Stand by Me, Love Actually, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Flight of the Navigator, Mean Girls, Singles, Back to the Future, Derailed, The Royal Tennanbaums, and many more. Oh yeah, and every year around Christmas I must watch the Santa Clause at least once, I don't know why, but I really like that movie. It makes me feel like a kid again, and excited about Christmas!!! Oh yeah, I'm also a born and bred Hoosier girl so no list of my favorite movies can be complete without one of the best movies in the world--Hoosiers!!!! ;-)
