Well let's see... I like listening to and playing music... It is prolly one of my most favorite things to do. I own two saxophones, alto and tenor. They are loads of fun to play.
I also like to draw when the mood strikes me. Hmmm, what else do I like to do... I also like to fish. It is just too bad that I never go on nice days to fish. I would have to say that this is my favorite Bible verse, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."
2 Timothy 1:7
I am also really into playing computer games and console games and as for the video below, all I can say is WAHOOO!!! About time!
And remember... "Genetics explain why you look like your father... and if you don't, why you should!" --- Some Science Dude.
Well let's see, I'd like to meet some really cool people. Fakes and flakes need not apply. I seem to have been around a lot of those these last few years. Well that's enough for now... BACK TO LIVE ACTION!!!!
I listen to anything ranging from Nightwish, Within Temptation, AC/DC, The Eagles, Flogging Molly, some country (but not much), jazz, swing music.
"Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent."
-Victor Hugo-
Remember:The Pythagorean Philosophy states "Music is the harmonization of opposites; the concilation of warring elements."Watch out for the Orange Blossom Express being driven by Charlie McCoy! BTW... he is playing the harmonica and no, the video isn't sped up. He is really playing that fast!
If you didn't like that... how about a little Foggy Mountain Breakdown?
I like comedy, action, mystery, suspense... but not in that particular order... I really also like thinking movies like murder mysteries. I would have to say that the Top Ten favorite movies for me are:
1. The Blues Brothers
2. Ghostbusters
3. Batman Begins
4. Support Your Local Sheriff
5. Lord of the Rings
6. Cars
7. The Italian Job
8. Sleepy Hollow
9. Star Wars
10. Back To the Future
So there ya go!
Just four words...
MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS! Colin Dances!!!! Quite possibly the best random, sketch comedy show ever! One of my all-time favorite cartoons "Porky Pig's Feat
Pronoun Trouble
Hmmm... Well I am still stuck in the extremely long saga of Wheel of Time right now... Book 6 of like 11 or 12. I also like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Sherlock Holmes. Oh yes, don't forget the Chronicles of Narnia!
And who can not forget the Adventures of Tintin. If you have read Tintin, let me know! I want to see if anyone knows who he is... plus Captain Haddock is the best!
I found a new comic book series that I like really well. It is called Fables. Pretty interesting and fun. Basically it is the story of what would happen if all the literary fairy tale characters were banished to the norish world of present-day New York and the resulting fight they have in trying to get back to their respective kingdoms. Great read. Hit me up if you want to check it out! The other series that I am having fun reading is called "The Exterminators". A smart and scary tale of roaches, rats, raccoons and the men who kill them,The Exterminators focuses on a dysfunctional group of bug killers prowling the barrios and bungalows of Los Angeles.Henry James, the newest exterminator, sees the job as a way to cleanse the sins of his dark past, he has a hard time getting his view across to his careerist girlfriend, sociopathic partner and the general bunch of freaks he calls co-workers. Meanwhile, what Henry and the "bug brothers" of Bug-Bee-Gone Co. don't understand is that human beings may be the true pests — and bugs could be the real exterminator.
Finally the last series that I have stumbled upon that is a great read is called "Fear Agent". When down and out alien exterminator, Heath Huston stumbles upon an extraterrestrial legion of amoebas preparing to annihilate the Earth, he's forced to choose between the bottle and resuming his roll as a peace keeper, as The Last Fear Agent. Heath's former band of soldiers, the Fear Agents was comprised of a group of the last remaining humans on Earth, whose sworn duty was the protection of their home world against alien invaders. A number of years after preventing a large scale invasion of Earth, the Fear Agents were all slaughtered in a mysterious incident.
