Andy McQueen (born August 9, 1975) is a singer, composer, music producer and musician able to play guitar, bass-guitar, drums, harmonica, piano and anything else he can get his hands on.Born in Ventura, California just north of Los Angeles, Andy is the third son of four to Russell and Susan McQueen. At just over a year old Andy's mother and father packed up their children and headed for sunny San Diego. Andy's father, an engineer, proficient with the accordion, guitar and percussion instruments was Andy's biggest influence. Andy's early music career found him playing bass guitar in several hard rock bands in the North County of San Diego from 1992 through 1995 until one day he was heard singing by a friend in another band. This band was Moral Issue. In 1993 Moral Issue asked Andy to join their band as the lead singer. Moral Issue recorded two independent full-length albums from 1994 to 1997 with moderate local and national success. Several record labels showed interest in signing this dynamic 4 piece and Moral Issue was considering signing after there tour. With a national tour under his belt Andy was bit with the bug of performing and enjoyed making a difference in the lives of the many people he was put into contact with. Moral Issue played with some of todays most sought after musical acts such as P.O.D. and MXPX.After Moral Issue Andy found himself once again in the front man position of another San Diego staple band by the name of Skratchline. When Andy joined Skratchline in the summer of 2001 as the lead singer he headlined his first show at the Coors Amphitheater in San Diego for the Fourth of July celebration, Miles Ahead. This was just the beginning for the new Skratchline formerly of Rescue Records and label mates to P.O.D. After leaving Rescue Records Skratchline went on to record an independent E.P. that was sought after by local radio stations in the San Diego area, most notably was Independent Radio FM 92.1!Andy now lives in San Diego, California where he is pursuing his music career and is recording an independent acoustic album that will reflect what he has gone through in his short but experienced life. In 2006 Andy was offered 2 "VIP" auditions for 2 "Rock Reality" TV shows which he auditioned for, ROCKSTAR: SUPERNOVA and THE ONE: THE MAKING OF A MUSIC STAR. Andy most recently wrote and preformed the musical score to "Bison Boothill" a film by Trevor C.
