My name is Aubrey, but almost no one remembers how to pronounce or spell that, so most call me Abby. Or Larien.

I've also responded to Aya, Danny, and Arby at some point in my life.

Anywho....

My name happens to mean King of the Elves..roughly. It's a variant on the name of the Elven Warlock Alberic, mentioned in Germanic mythology. :)I used to hate it, but I've grown into it, I think. Well, aside from the fact that I'm not male, am not an elf, and I'm not a leader of any kind. o_O

Words are much more complex than just symbols on paper.

Languages are also a lot of fun. I like Japanese in particular. One day the plan between myself and my best friend is to learn Finnish, Swedish, and Sindarin Elvish, as well. :) Wish us luck.
P.S. I suppose now Danish got added to that. Nate wants to move there and become residents and raise our children there because all schooling is free. o_O Hell yeah! America is NOT the greatest country on Earth.

My favorite Kanji symbol is Ai, meaning love.

I'll confess that has more to do with the fact that it was the first symbol I learned to write, and less to do with the symbol itself. :)

I cuss a lot.

But I don't think cussing really adds to anyone's vocabulary.

I do a lot of reading. Especially fantasy books.

I also like to draw.

I'm just not as terrific at it as some of the other artists out there. But that's ok because I really like doing it. :)

I like eyes and smiles.

I like taking pictures with my phone.

I like dressing up. But only every now and again. Plus I lost my eyeliner. :(

I like gloves and armwarmers, especially since my hands and arms are ALWAYS cold.

I like layers, but I like to leave my shoulders open because it's one of the few parts of me I actually like.

I also like striped leggings.

I know people don't believe me, but Dagorhir is my heart and soul.

Ragnarok is my favorite week out of the year.

But my heart really belongs to Eryndor.

I'm fairly easy to get along with. :)

I try to avoid labels, but I won't say I don't label people every now and again. It makes it easy for lazy people to describe people they don't know. - -'

I wait tables at the Waffle House.

It's not the best job ever, but it gets me by and I think I'll be stuck there awhile.

And believe it or not, some of the best people I've ever met eat there regularly. :)

I like piercings. A lot. I'll pierce my own ears whenever I get bored, but I don't actually have a whole lot of piercings anymore. Just my ears and my tongue.

I also like tattoos, but I, uh, won't be getting any more of them. The first one hurt like hell. ^_^ If you wanna see it, it's on page two of my pictures.

Mythology is one of the most interesting subjects I never got to take in high school, though I still plan on learning more about it, and soon.

Lately my love and I have been buying up books on the Norse Gods. I'm more interested in Thor, and I think he said he really likes Tyr. Whatever works.

On an end note (for the moment), I'm trying, yet again, to overhaul this myspace. I'm just....lazy. (nod)
