Who am I? Some call me "The Duchess" which is short for Doña Lucrezia Alvarez-Borja, la Duquesa de Valencia, España; Red Lucy, the Spanish Pirate Wench; Doña Isabella-Marisela the Duchess in Denial (aka Izzy); Lady Zu; Highbeam (technically it's my car's name, but I borrowed it for a Transformers forum); "hey you"...
I'm a pretty friendly person and just love Renaissance Festivals and artsy stuffs and other fandoms. I frequently attend and support MI Faires (namely MRF , SLRF , Mayfaire , and Derbyshire , ) and related events whenever able. I even set up an informative and fun Yahoo! Group for rennies across the U.S.

First of all, if I don't know you irl, and you want me to add you as a "friend", send me a message stating why you want me to add you. Not too difficult, really. This doesn't guarantee I will accept your request though (like if your profile looks questionable).

I am not interested in meeting random people (especially those long distance) online for the sake of online dating... Personally, I don't think that method works -- I'd rather meet people irl first.

If I know you from another website or something, PLEASE send me a message along with a friend request, letting me know who you are and where we've met (especially if I've never seen a photo of you before). If I see a random friend request from someone I don't recognize, especially if I can't remotely relate to that person's interests or whatnot, I'm quite likely to just delete it if I don't receive a message with the request.

Please don't send me posts asking for my phone number, email address or my IM screennames with intent on anything Internet relationship wise... Give me any reason to delete you, and I will, and I'll report or block you if it's that bad.

I'm not kidding either. I've blocked several people because their profiles looked like they were just trying to gather as many scantily clad women on it as possible... Sorry, but I don't want anything to do with someone like that.

However, if we've met before, I am willing to share such info with you, and even those I have yet to (possibly) meet may end up receiving said contact info -as-I-see-fit-.
