KAT is with no doubt the most important Metal band in Poland, ever. Since the early '80s their live shows are each time completely sold out. KAT is also the only one Polish band that used to share stage with bands such as METALLICA (during their "Master Of Puppets" Tour) or IRON MAIDEN and MOTORHEAD. Their albums are now ultimate classics, and in several cases started new trends. Some years bands such as VADER and BEHEMOTH participated in the "Czarne Zastepy - W Holdzie KAT" ("A Tribute To KAT"), what probably shows the best what kind of status this band had and still have between both Metal fans, and Metal musicians.
