I Don't Love to Fight; I Fight for Love

About Me

Although Boston is offically the most expensive city nation-wide; even having traveled a small portion of this huge world, there is something special about home. I GRAUDUATED! from good ol' UMass Boston, and glad to be done. My name is Dylan Seo, by the way. I dedicate my time towards building the global anti-capitalism movement. Always having a rebellious nature, fighting against the imperialistic forces of capitalism and its hostile take-over is fit for me. As a proud member of an international organization, Socialist Alternative/CWI, looking to help and aid the workers of the world, i find a place to create change in a world that is ripe and searching for answers. I dont claim to have the answers to anything, who am i to make those decisions. But, i do know that our world is being polluted, the minds of our children are being washed over with consumption and wasted away without a proper education. I also know that the money the ruling elite enjoy so uncaringly is the wealth that we, the people, create and they steal. I know its time to call an end to the war, all wars. A wise man, wiser then I, once said, "war is the absence of socialism." May peace be with you.

Red Army oath as written by Trotsky (edited by Dylan Seo)
I, son of working-class parents and a citizen of the {United States of America} assume the title of a solider in the army of Workers and Peasents.
Before the workers of the {United States of America} and the whole world I pledge myself to bear this title in honour, to learn the art of war conscientiously and to cherish as the apple of my eye the property of the people and protect it against all robbery and destruction.
I pledge myself to observe revolutionary discipline strictly and resolutely and to obey without demur all orders given me by the commanders set over me by the government of workers and peasents.
I pledge myself to abstain from all actions derogatory to the diginity of a citizen of the {United States of America} and to restrain my comrades from such actions, and to direct my every action and thought towards freeing of all workers.
I pledge myself to respond to the first call from the government of workers and peasants by placing myself at its disposal for the defence of the republic of workers and peasants against any attack and peril from any enemny, and to spare neither my strength nor my life in battle for the {United States of America} and for the cause of socialism and the fraternization of all races.
May the scorn of all be my lot and may the hard hand of the revolutionary law punish me, if ever with evil intent I break this my solemn oath.

I'd like to meet:

i want to meet....Charlie Chaplin, Einstein, Tesla, my grandfather(father's side), you--who ever reads this bit of electronic messaging. People i find refreshing are those who seek out the truth and look for change. Those who question what they are told and see. I appreciate those who find magic and majesty in life and the world around us all. I have deep respect for the wise elders with profound knowledge and experience to share with those who listen. I want to meet other people looking to change the world for the better. Its past time for hunger, poverty and homelessness to be eradicated off this world. We can change the world when we unite into a mass fighting for justice and sustainablity.

Music:

i love music, its all love. there isnt much music i dont like, except pop culture bull-shit. Pop is just bad rip offs of the orginals, or lame orginals that have nothing left. Beats...mmm...love a good beat, but i wont like a song for beats alone, if theres a bad message it aint for me. I need good lyrics. But my current favorites are; MIA, Blackstar, Girl Talk, Queen, Flaming Lips, Violent Feemes, Labor Power, Clash, so so much more..

Movies:

Limelight, the corporation, control room, bread and roses, salt of the earth, modern times, dirty work, office space, clock work orange, cool runnings(seriously), akira, fists of legends, bruce lee, shawn of the dead, koyanisquatzi (actually the sequel too), super troopers, never ending story, damn...there are just so many...the list goes on and on and on. peace

Television:

family guy, simpsons, futurama, the daily show... i dont watch much TV.

Books:

Goodnight Moon, Steppenwolf, Einstein's Dreams, Why we can't wait, Autobiography of Malcolm X, Mountains Beyond Mountains, Siddhartha. Some recent favs; The poor get prisons, The Revolution Betrayed, and research on Education! Once again there are just so many books out there, each one filled with so much its hard too choice, especially when there is so much to read and learn. Stand tall, stand strong.

Heroes:

The everyday person who struggles on each day, single parents, those really good teachers, Mark Twain, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr, Harriet Tubman, Karl Marx, Lenin, Herman Hess. Bach, Mozart, John Lennon, any musician that creates beauty for the greater good.
