Virgil Scott/Fame Retardent

Born in Athens GA. Bay Area transplant since 1982. Weened on New Wave and Punk (My first year of High School was 1986), always felt like a late comer that had missed the "scene" until I saw Operation Ivy at Gilman in 1987. Since then I have felt compelled to devote my life to music, quickly realizing that I was not a performer, I thankfully discovered engineering and producing in 1990, my life since has been a a dogged pursuit of that art. I now engineer and produce at Radical House recorders in San Francisco, under the venerable guise and talents of the infamous Mr. Ron K. God bless him for giving me the chance.I love music that makes me believe in something, however fleeting or trivial. Music, when it connects with me, and I to it, is the time I feel connected to anither human being, like I feel that someone understands me, even if it is an illusion, it still works.I am seeking artists, or a band that has that certain indescribable something.
