My name is Megan, I but I go by MEG. If you'll take the time to read my profile, you will learn a lot about me...soooo if you do, gosh darnit- Go you! You have gotten this far, which means you are literate, so keep on going- it'll only take up a minute (really actually 2 1/2 minutes) more of your time...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's where I'm going to give whoever reads this a quick run-down about myself and my life: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm from Harrison, Arkansas (Yep, I'm a hick and say "orta," which clearly means "shoulda") and moved here in 2002 for college. I don't make it back there all that much, unless it's to go to a Razorback game or to the most gorgeous river around, the Buffalo River, and in that case, I'm a very "happy camper." I honestly feel like I have a fabulous life and mostly all due to the people that surround me...the little sis (Paigeee- #1 badass), my big brother, the two older sissies, the nephews and nieces, my dog (Mullet), my friends, my neighbors & their dogs, my co-workers, the mailman, the front desk girls at Orlando Sun, the Mongolian Grill cook at Century Buffet, the people who try out on American Idol that can't sing, and the person who was speeding driving down the road going 5mph faster than me this morning that got pulled over by a cop. I don't use "LOL" or "LMAO." My best friend just moved to China. I am going to visit her in May and have 25 cent beer, seven dollar massages, and I even already know how to say "you are a shithead" in Chinese. It is, "Chin wana pe ku," in case you are wondering. I would like to know how to say something nice but it turns out it takes more effort to find out how to give a person a compliment rather than an insult, in another language, so I decided to just "wing it." I will not be making a pit stop at the Great Wall, unless the Great Wall is a ridiculously underpriced Chinese food buffet. I get it. It's a large wall. I would prefer to spend my time doing other sighseeing adventures, such as floating down a strangely named river in an unsafe, wooden boat. I'd like to travel more, and at some point in my life I will make sure and accomplish that. Life is too short to not get out and see all the wonderful things the world has to offer. I won't watch a movie that has the word "oracle" in it. I am a dork. Sure, I'll admit that. I also have fun organizing random closets and drawers. People find this extremely strange, and I do as well, but considering it is something that I do, I prefer to look past it to make myself feel better...and possibly more normal. Let's agree to consider myself "quirky." I could have OCD and just don't choose to seek help because I feel it's beneficial to my lifestyle to be this way. I don't, however, like to hang up clothes, and I procrastinate doing so. I have been known to procrastinate, but I only procrastinate when I don't directly benefit from getting the task done early. I won't hold it against myself. I used to have a social life. I no longer do. I find that I save money and have less hangovers as a result of this so I am going to continue this from here on out...for now. When I feel that that there is a reason to change this, I may. Also, I'm not guna "holla atchu" so don't ask (see blogs, read blogs). Losing my cellphone is not a strange occurrence. I absolutely hate talking on the phone...that's what text messages are for! I like politics, believe it or not. Some of my views are very conservative. Some are very radical. I will give you my opinion if you ask but would never shove it in peoples' faces. That would be rude. I also don't want to hear your opinion on the world, our president, God or the lack thereof, and/or the current state of the Union so please refrain from giving it to me. Thank you in advance. I'm not going to school right now. I'm working and getting my feet wet in the family biz, but when I go back, I'll finish my Communication degree and...probably keep working where I am now for a while...because I love it! I spend the majority of my time in Branson, where I work, and where my dad and his fiancee live (yep- call me Ms. 3rd wheel...ah- they love me, though), so May 1st, 2007 I guess I'll be moving my happy ass down to a condo on the golf course (guess it's time to learn the sport now) in Branson, Missouri- the show capital of the world, where we have more shows than Las Vegas and Broadway combined (useless Branson info for you there, and yes- how exciting). I'm sure we also have a country bumpkin buffet to go along with each show and, unfortunately, no strip clubs or wild nightclubs or casinos to match, though...so basically we have Vegas, minus most of the fun. Yes, I did say "most" because we do have Table Rock Lake right around the corner from me so I can practice up on this wakeboarding I can't seem to get enough of.
