Prog improvisational funkified rock & roll!!

About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

HwH (formerly Quadrosonic) is a funky trio which plays original music based in improvisational rock and funk music. The band takes 3 unique sounds and creates a single, yet layered musical experience. To accomplish this, HwH employs a powerful live "show" with spectacular lights and effects to enhance the experience.
HwH was born from the remaining members of the Rare Beat Express (Howie & Wex) combined with Hamilton Wetzel to form a new band. The band started out as a powerful 4-piece (Quadrosonic) before realizing that their strength was in the stripped down trio format. The result fuses Mike Wexler's testosterone fueled guitar playing with Howie Krisel's complex organ melodies and Hamilton Wetzel's syncopated rhythms. The Sunday Paper described the band as "tense improvisational funkified rock and roll."
Their combination of guitar, keyboards, drums has been honed and crafted to insure an entertaining environment for both band and audience each night out. The members have graced the stages of many familiar Atlanta hot spots including: Smith's Olde Bar, the 10 High, Vinyl, Club 29, Fuzzy's, Andrew's Upstairs, Pollen Fest, Grant Park's Summer Shade Festival and many others around Georgia and the Southeast and Midwest.
As they intertwine cover songs with their original songs to pay tribute to the bands that inspire them, HwH's intention is to make your body move in each and every venue that they play...
