Hockey has always been a favourite of mine. I played on the Brock Women's Varsity team for 3 amazing years. Things didnt exactly work out this year, but it ended up being for the better, as i have much more time to focus on my studies. Of course i miss it, and everyone on the team, but when i'm in the middle of a thesis, and two independent studies, a little extra time is always helpful.i love playing my guitar as well....i've played since i was 5, so it's something that more or less comes naturally to me now. i'm too busy for lessons these days, so it's more of a relaxing past time. i enjoy picking it up when i'm having a stressful day. playing a tune or two is a nice way to relax and just take some time for myself.going up north to my cottage is also a fav. past time. i really enjoy going up there with the family to relax, do some fishing, swimming and of course drinking! it's so awesome to just sit around the fire and tell story after story...and they usually get much mroe interesting after a few bevvies...always good timesmy friends and family are my life. without them i wouldnt be where i am, nor would i be even close to the person that i am. theyre my rock. i love my family to death. my mom is my best friend...my dad still scares me (hahaha) but has always been there for me and my brother and i are inseparable....we love to laugh together and all seem to be characters...so again, nothing but good times with friends and family.
I'd like to meet:
new people! i love new people!i really enjoy getting to know new people...not that i get bored with the friends that i have now, but change is always good i guess

i listen to pretty much anything. playing the guitar since such a young age i have learned to enjoy all kinds of styles. i play classical, rock, clapton, the beatles, the eagles, the hip etc. what i listen to pretty much depends on my mood. i can go anywhere from led zepplin to classical, to country to alternative....i would say the only stuff that i really dont like is the garbage where people are screaming into the mic...
Movies:
well, much like my musical tastes, i'm pretty much up for anything (except sci-fi stupid star trek, star wars crap). i LOVE scary movies!! my favourite movies would have to include the green mile, shawshank redemption, american history X, a league of their own AND the ultimate chick flick: dirty dancing. i really like movies that mess with your head like vanilla sky, saw, saw 2, fight club, etc.
Television:
Get This From JuniorsLayouts.comummm...i dont get much of a chance to watch tv, but when i do i'm usually watching hockey, football, or basketball. i really really love the discovery channel, life, a&e, tlc, the health channel....pretty much anything that has health related or crime stuff....i love csi, cold case files etc. oh...and ELLEN!
Books:
Get This From JuniorsLayouts.combesides the thousands of dollars in text books i have sitting in my room, i do love to read fictional books. a couple of my favourites have been fall on your knees by ann marie macdonald, night by elie weisel, the 5 people you meet in heaven by mitch albom and pretty much anything by maya angelou
Heroes:
sounds typical but it's true...my mom...she's amazing, rocks my world...and is pretty much everything that i want to be in a mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, business woman and friend. in all honesty, if i can be half the woman she is, i'll be more than happy with my life.
